Around 1950, Mr. Enrique Ramírez, owner of a small chain of local cinemas in Colombia, was the victim of a fire in one of its cinemas located in the municipality of Florida, causing serious damage to the theater and seats. As a result of this and after the need to repair the damage, Ramírez decides to venture into this business starting with his own theater in Florida, an activity that would continue with the automotive industry that was arriving to the country.
